Most children prefer sweet food, in other words it is hard to make them enjoy healthy and nutritious food. No matter what the situation, it is still necessary for them to have sufficient nutrition to have a balanced diet. First and foremost is to limit sugar and salt in their food to prevent addiction. Never ban sweets and salty snacks entirely because having a no sweets rule will only increase the craving of kids on overindulging when they are given the chance. Another way is to avoid sugary drinks, which is why parents usually never feed their kids anything but milk and water. Avoiding processed and fast food also help toddlers to have a proper balanced diet. Processed foods in can or frozen meal package contain hidden sodium that surpasses the recommended limit quickly.
